Three Suffer Injuries In CT Apartment Explosion, Reports Say

Three people were injured in an explosion at a Connecticut apartment, according to multiple reports.

At 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, the Seymour Police Department asked people to avoid the area of Maple Street and Pearl Street.

At 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, police in New Haven County asked people in Seymour to avoid the area of Maple Street and Pearl Street.

The Seymour Police Department reported that the fire department was investigating a gas leak and explosion in the area.

According to NBC Connecticut, officials reported that two people were hospitalized with serious injuries after an explosion at an apartment building. 

Another person suffered minor injuries and refused treatment, the news outlet reported.

WFSB, a local news station in Hartford, reported that officials said five people were displaced following the explosion.
